Family - Chunky Beef & Mushroom Cottage Pie


Ready Made Cottage Pie 

A soul warming and hearty cottage pie meal for the whole family. Tender chunks of beef cooked with mushrooms, a little bacon & loads of vegetables topped with delicious crushed potatoes. This ready made cottage pie is just waiting to be heated up in the oven for family dinner time. 

Accompaniment suggestions: You could add some steamed beans or broccoli, garden salad or wilted spinach with a squeeze of lemon juice.

Minimum size of 1.2kg (serves 4). This product is frozen & par cooked. Cooking in oven is required.

Ingredients: Beef, onion, garlic, thyme, mushroom, celery, bacon (220 Sulphite), red wine, dried porcini mushroom, beef bone broth (beef marrow bones, water, carrot, celery, onion, parsley, apple cider vinegar, salt), salt, pepper, olive oil, arrowroot, potato, sweet potato, parsley

This is a frozen meal and should be stored in the freezer until you're ready to thaw.

Cooking Instructions:

1. Allow tray to defrost in fridge overnight
2. Heat oven to 180 degrees
3. Remove plastic bag & lid
4. Use a fork to fluff up potatoes (so they go crunchy in oven)
4. Cook for 40mins
5. Test using meat thermometer in centre (at least 80 degrees) or place butter knife in centre to test heat (use caution). Heat in 10 minute intervals if not ready.
6. Allow to rest for 5-10 mins prior to serving
